Hey!!

I was browsing for recipes online - I'm in love with food, went to culinary school, and yet currently work in a call center because getting a culinary job in Phoenix, AZ doesn't pay very well - and I stumbled across your blog.

From here, I of course went to check out your personal blog and followed through some of your pictures. I wanted to know who was making these amaaaazing dishes - at least, they look like they'd be amazing in person! My mouth is watering, and for lunch I've left over dim sum.. and Phoenix dim sum is nothing compared to, say, dim sum in the culturally packed San Francisco or New York areas. I'd assume NY would have some gooood dim sum places.

ANYWAY. I just wanted to drop a compliment, a comment, whatever, and say that I LOVE this blog and I will be bookmarking it to check daily at work. I even mentioned it in my own blog on Vox (the URL I put leads to that) so that anyone that stumbles across my blog would know that yours inspires me.

Your food looks great; it makes me want to move to Brooklyn and be your neighbor & friend. I miss cooking with great ingredients - you make me crave seafood and the bay area.

Thanks. :-)

Yikes! I'm grateful I don't have to deal with any picky eaters. :)

If you want to give the sauce a go, I do think it would work well with shrimp, scallops, or even chicken.

that looks just beautiful. the only seriously major and nearly unforgiveable flaw in my guy is that he doesn't eat fish. shellfish yes, but scales and gills on it? no way...
still better than my ex-husband who wouldn't eat pasta, cheese or garlic...
