]]> By: claudia http://www.lastnightsdinner.net/2007/09/23/the-partys-over/comment-page-1/#comment-623 claudia Tue, 25 Sep 2007 23:05:38 +0000 http://www.lastnightsdinner.net/2007/09/23/the-partys-over/#comment-623 HEY I MISSED THIS.... but i did meet my friend and we lunched at le cirque. he works across the street. i tried to get him to go somewhere else but i'm so not gonna complain. food is good there - not great. he took me back in may when i was in ny last. plus the eastside was crazy due to Bush/UN stuff. i went to Mood the fabric store on 38th street this morning and from there it took 40 minutes in a cab to 58th and lex. lovely... i am so over eating out! yes.. it is possible... from chinese takeout to the modern to centolire to prune to lavagna to le cirque... i am over salted and buttered and although it's all been wonderful. next trip prune for dinner and the spotted owl. my friggin flight was canceled. so i leave tomorrow now. i miss my bed - my kitties - oh yeah, and cary too! as of now i'm booked on the 12:20pm. here's hoping... HEY I MISSED THIS….

I love that place to death. :) The rain was quite a surprise - the weather forecasts called for sunshine and humidity, but when it was so overcast when we woke up on Saturday morning Mike made sure to pull up the satellite weather on the laptop. Even as it was pouring in our yard, there was nothing on the local tv weather reports about rain! But it was brief, and aside from soaking our most comfy outdoor chairs, it wasn't too big of an issue - we all migrated out to the yard eventually and enjoyed it late into the evening. I should be free on Tuesday, so drop me a line when you know what's up! Oh, I’m so glad you enjoyed Prune! I love that place to death. :)
