Braised leeks, yummy! They seem to make anything taste better. I just bought some the other day since they're in season and had them along side some pan fried canned salmon and felt like I was having a much fancier dinner :)

Yum!

Those leeks look delicious :) I always seem to chop mine up into chunks, think I'll try the long pieces next time - braising with some wine sounds like a great idea.

This looks and sounds delicious. I can always count on you for inventive bacon and eggs type dishes. A couple of months ago a read about your version of bacon and egg risotto, tried my own version and loved it and inspired a few of my blog's readers to try it as well. Now I'm definitely going to give this bacon and eggs and leeks dish a go. But first, I have to catch a train to NYC to hang out with some friends in Brooklyn for the weekend . . . your stompin' grounds. Thanks for the inspiration. Happy cooking!
