Daisy - Thanks! The individual ones were super easy.

Mary - Ha ha! Our neighbors send some pretty tantalizing food smells wafting through the hallways themselves... :)

Amy - I am totally lucky. I honestly don't have the patience for pastry and baking, and Mike loves it, so we balance each other out that way.

Hillary - Thank you, and same to you!

Donald - Thanks! Your poor-man's version sounds nice!

Okay, now this, this is a thing of beauty! Really.

I've done a poor-man's wellington with a ground beef, mushroom mixture from Emeril's lot, but this looks amazing.

Great pix, AGAIN!

Ok, just drooled all over my keyboard here. How cool is it that you have your very own pastry chef?

I just love the individual Beef Wellingtons; they're splurg-y but still so easy to assemble. I made them for our anniversary last year and have been contemplating a repeat performance this year. You might've just convinced me. :)

Beautifully done, Jen! I was just thinking about your neighbors. Do they all just stand outside staring at your front door wondering what in the world those divine aromas are?

Thanks for sharing your photos. The wellingtons look delicious. I recently made my first beef wellington and was also surprised at how easy it is to put together. I've seen a couple recipes for individual wellingtons like you made and have wanted to try that preparation as well.
