Claudia - Ooooh, the flanken sounds great.  But alas, no orange zest for me because of the allergy thing.  ;)

Lydia - That sounds like a great addition - I was tempted to add smoked paprika but I might try some sauce next time I make this.  Thanks!

		<description>I'm not a ham eater, so I always add a tablespoon or two of barbecue sauce to my bean and pea soups to get some of that smoky/sweet flavor. Works like a charm!</description>
