We don’t eat out often, but when we do, this is our favorite place to go. They just get it right – great atmosphere, perfectly fresh, seasonal ingredients, spot-on preparations and pairings. I always walk away inspired.
The farmers’ market is one of the best parts of my week. It’s even better now that Spring is kicking into high gear.

Can you hear me howling like a starving wolf all the way from the Lower East Side????
Where did the lamb come from? It looks absolutely divine.
Our farmer’s market in Baltimore opened this weekend. It was mostly plants, but I was able to pick up asparagus, pea vines, and mustard greens.
beautiful photos! what a relief spring is. finally — fresh produce.
Love the photo of your fiddlehead ferns. Beautiful!

Marie – Aw, you make me feel bad!
Adina – We don’t have a local source for lamb yet, so this was from Whole Foods. I am so looking forward to mustard greens – one of my favorite things!
elizabeth – It truly is a relief
Clay – Thanks!
hikalu – I think fiddleheads are found in some parts of the States but not others. I don’t remember seeing them where I grew up, but they’re definitely around here in New England!

I LOVE fiddleheads! I hope they’ll be around next weekend at the Union Sq NY farmers market. *crossing fingers*
