Hi Jen: I was wondering what food mill you use. I bought one a while back that was recommended by Cook’s Illustrated–it is plastic and cheap–and I have not had much luck with it. I love your blog! It is very inspiring to me. Thank you.-Elena

Your weekend eats (and drinks) have become practically meditative for me. Apparently, food photos soothe me more than “naturescapes.” So, thank you!

Elena – You know, I don’t know the brand off hand. I got it at Crate and Barrel, I think, years ago, and it has worked pretty well for me. You might check out Oxo’s version, which looks nice and has three different discs.

John and Marie – Thanks!

What is that lovely purple/green/white dish in the 10th photo? I must know! It looks like comfort food at it’s absolute best!

Your weekend eats and drinks have become nearly meditative for me as well. They remind me of when I lived in Burlington, VT, where local, wholesome foods prepared with love and thoughtfulness are EVERYWHERE. I didn’t realize how good I had it!

Oh wow! So hard to pick a favorite shot. That soup looks incredible, but so does the burger – and the pasta. Great series.

Love you images. Everything looks gorgeous and your appreciation is palpable. Also, love your page on Where Are the Recipes? Your philosophy is right up my alley. Love it.
